the Viwinco window fabrication facility in Morgantown, PA, at 1 pm on April 20, 2009. David Barnes, the president of Viwinco welcomed Congressman Gerlach and provided a plant tour. April 6, 2007 - Discovery Channel Filming
Viwinco, Inc. has been chosen by the Discovery Channel to be the site for the filming of a show about producing vinyl windows. The name of the show is
Some Assembly Required. The host, Brian Unger, will actually fabricate the window from cutting sheets of glass and vinyl lineals to fusion welding lineal joints, adding hardware, and assembling the final completed window unit. The second host, Lou Bloomfield from the University of Virginia will be on hand to explain some of the design and fabrication challenges.
